EXPERIENCE

Courtney Forster is a shareholder admitted to the state bars of Nevada and California, along with all federal courts in both states. She has represented a wide variety of clients from Nevada, California, and across the country. Ms. Forster’s clientele includes individuals, business owners, commercial and residential property developers, homeowners, landlords, tenants, contractors, and real estate brokers and agents, among many others. Ms. Forster has appeared in both state and federal court, including at the appellate level, across Nevada and California. Ms. Forster has represented clients in several jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. She is the author of numerous published articles on topics that affect individuals and business alike, including personal liability shields and construction defect reform, and has presented educational seminars to both lawyer and non-lawyer professional organizations. Ms. Forster firmly believes in working with her clients to achieve the best outcome of their legal scenarios in a manner that is both high-quality and efficient.

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Ms. Forster serves as Secretary for the board of directors for Mariposa Dual Language Academy, a dual language charter school in Reno, Nevada, and on the board of directors for the Prospectors’ Club. Ms. Forster previously served on of the board of directors for the Crisis Call Center from 2009 to 2016, including two terms as President. She is also the co-founder and past President of the Northern Nevada University of Oregon Alumni Association and a member of The Prospectors’ Club and the Washoe County Bar Association.
