EXPERIENCE

Mr. Sweet has represented a wide variety of clients from across Nevada, California, and the nation.  Mr. Sweet’s primary clientele includes individuals and businesses on a local, regional, and national level.  During his time with Gunderson Law Firm, Mr. Sweet has represented business owners, commercial and residential property owners, tenants, landlords, contractors, real estate brokers and agents, developers, commercial and personal lenders and borrowers, and non-profits.  Mr. Sweet has appeared before state and federal courts across the West Coast, including Nevada, California, Washington, and Montana.

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Mr. Sweet currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for The Discovery museum, a hands-on museum dedicated to inspiring lifelong learning in science, technology, engineering, art, math, and the world around us. Mr. Sweet also serves as the Immediate-Past-President of Washoe Legal Services, a non-profit organization founded in 1965 which provides Northern Nevada’s vulnerable populations access to justice, regardless of their ability to pay, to protect their rights, safety, and family stability. Mr. Sweet also serves as the President of The Prospectors’ Club. Mr. Sweet is a member of the the Nevada Bar Association, the Washoe County Bar Association and the Prospectors’ Club.
